My work is focused on media strategy and creating connections, and my specialties are media, marketing and the business of sports.

I began my media career in Toronto at CBC’s renowned flagship TV newscast, The National. Soon after, I moved to New York and transitioned to publishing, joining Time magazine, and its spinoff Time Digital as a reporter. In the late ‘90s, I moved to Mediaweek, where I rose from reporter to editor, chronicling the tech revolution and its impact on media, marketing, and culture.

By the mid aughts, I transitioned to a company focused on digital marketing, working for Mochila, a startup content discovery platform. I curated contextual content for brands and oversaw the company’s marketing and PR efforts—all of which gave me a front-row seat to the tectonic changes taking place in the digital media and advertising space.

In 2011, I joined Adweek as its managing editor. Over the course of a decade, I wore many hats, eventually rising to Adweek’s Chief Content Officer and led the publisher’s award-winning editorial content, event programming, and awards portfolio.

Adweek tapped into marketing’s hold on all facets of business and culture. And it was during this time that my passion for the business of sports and marketing really came into focus. I conceived and hosted the Most Powerful Women in Sports podcast, rolled out Brandweek’s Sports Marketing summit, and collaborated with 14 CMOs of pro sports teams and leagues to help produce The Real Heroes Project, a multimedia campaign to honor first responders in the early days of Covid. Later, I moved to Front Office Sports, where I helped transition the newsletter-first publisher into a multimedia brand.

In 2024, I returned to my roots as a business journalist, joining Beet.TV, the premiere chronicler of CTV, Digital Video, Retail and Commerce Media, all-things AI and ad tech innovation. Beet.TV’s renowned Beet Retreats bring together leaders of the entire ad ecosystem for curated conversations and networking specifically for C-suite executives from world’s largest media agencies, publishers, marketers and ad platforms. Beet.TV also produces bespoke video interview series with our partners at Cannes Lions, Advertising Week, ALM and many other key ad-industry tentpoles.

I bring expertise in media, marketing, ad tech, and sports business to craft strategies that enable brands to engage meaningfully with their audiences and industry peers.
